Watching the reddish horizon
As I ask for the reason
How could an island live alone
When the same pattern goes on
“Did those hundred years that pass you
Wearied you staying alive
Others reached the end of their queue
But you still wouldn’t arrive
Was it fine that you lived alone
‘Cause you know you’d lose no one
What about those who have known you
Leave but footprints in the sand”
Lead then trek for me to follow
Not be tired to watch the sun
Though I doubt that I’d do so
Before, I would long be gone
